For an added challenge, Top Gun fans will have the task of facing the top Soviet ace pilot while managing the tumultuous new wingman relationship between Iceman and Maverick. While learning the ropes at the Academy and progressing toward active duty, players will team up with seasoned pilots to take down enemy planes over the Indian Ocean in the game's Campaign Mode. Top Gun includes five online multiplayer modes, allowing up to 12 players to battle it out. Upon graduation, gamers take to the skies over the Indian Ocean to go up against the Soviets in large-scale dogfight battles. Along with Radar Intercept Officer (RIO) Goose, players take the role of Maverick as they take on the best of the best at the Top Gun Academy. Based on the iconic film, Top Gun is a free-flying air combat expanding the legend of Maverick, Iceman and the rest of the Top Gun flyers through new combat scenarios and dialogue written by the film's screenwriter, Jack Epps, Jr. LOS ANGELES - Paramount Digital Entertainment today announced that Top Gun the video game is now available on Windows PC download via Steam.
